Exploring Ukraine’s Underground Rave Revolution

The 2014 revolution introduced Kiev nightlife to an entire standstill. As protests was riots, and authorities safety forces opened hearth on protestors, the nation fell into disaster. But out of the ashes of revolution has risen a brand new technology. Slava Lepsheev, who’d misplaced his job due to the monetary disaster triggered by the warfare, had had sufficient, and began Cxema, a uncooked, onerous and hypnotic techno rave that he took to no matter semi-legal venue he might set a soundsystem up in. So along with Slava, and town’s brightest younger lights, we adopted younger Kiev as they ready for an evening at Cxema, from constructing the venue to watching the dawn break.
